SELENA GOMEZ
Even though many designers that we have seen have had some type of training and have had some type of help in designing their eco-friendly clothing. This next designer Selena Gomez is an actress that stared in many shows and now is starting her own eco-friendly clothing line.
Selena Gomez has teamed with Kmart to launch an eco-friendly clothing line in July, just in time for back-to-school shopping.
Her aim is for teens, her Dream Out Loud collection—featuring organic cotton and recycled materials—will include value-priced junior sportswear, handbags, belts, scarves, hats, hair accessories and socks/hosiery.
Gomez, who stars in the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place, “is a positive role model for teens, and her fans all over the world look to her for style inspiration,” says Kmart spokesman John Goodman. “We are delighted to offer our customers the opportunity to emulate her style with affordable apparel and footwear options.”
Gomez quotes, “I am proud to be able to join forces with Kmart to release my own fashion collection,” Gomez says. “This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and I feel privileged to be able to give the consumer great product at a great value.”

Even though Green fashion might be an improvement for our world as a whole, I think that too many people are superficial and will continue to lean towards expensive name brand things. People usually don't start making changes until they are put in a bad situation. Even if we can improve our environment by changing something simple like the clothes we wear, not enough people get involved.
